-Older lady on the bus this morning, remarking on either my Klondike Days Dress Code outfit (jeans, blue shirt, neck kerchief) or my tired face and messy ponytail.

Another middle-aged guy beamed at me hugely after I got on the bus, and I was so disconcerted I kept going and moved to the back, rather than sit near him.
