So you don't have to 10 October 2005, 23:11

Yes, I’m back, and I’m not happy.

We went to see Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit so you don’t have to. Just trust us and skip it, folks. It’s just wrong and bad on so many levels.

Just stay home and re-watch your boxed set of the original three short W&G features, pop some corn and cry. Because you’ll be doing it anyway.

In the meantime it’s a good idea to scare up a copy of Creature Comforts, and somehow get your hands on the Aardman heat electric commercial series (it’s on the Aardman Classics video).

Sigh.

Disappointed

Aw crap. That's really quite sad. While you're scaring that up, maybe get some Richard Condie other than The Big Snit, and watch some of that, too. Especially the digital animation one he did, with the winebottle (or was it a bowling pin?) on wheels rolling around going "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh..." No really, I saw that. Wasn't high at the time, either. Somebody back me up here...

I saw the movie on the weekend... I enjoyed it, David thought it was stupid... but I laughed out loud in a couple of spots... my inner child is about 14... David's is dead....
