What has gone before 4 July 2003, 13:56

Ok, I lied about these being actual archives.

A little history for you. Beetroot began in February 1999 as a small personal site, and branched out in August 2000 to diaryland.com as well. Updates were few and far between, as I soon got busy with school, and work.

Before Beetroot there was Vanity Press Magazine, vintage November 1998, mostly a one-shot deal. Just a personal website with a few articles.

And even before that were the Zymph pages, which peaked around March 1998. Initial forays into web writing and design on this personal site.

Nowadays web writing is serialized, so I jumped on the bandwagon, late as usual, in mid-May 2003, after holding the beetnik.org domain for over a year. Beetroot is now based on a regularly updateable journal. Decent web writing software has made all the difference; believe me, the relief is delicious. Hopefully some of this benefit will be passed on to you, the reader.

In summary:

  1. beetnik.org (2003)
  2. Beetroot Dressing at diaryland.com (2000-2001)
  3. Beetroot Websalad (1999-2000)
  4. Vanity Press Magazine (1998)
  5. The Zymph pages (1998)

Other areas to explore:

Disclaimer: Bits are falling off here and there, and slightly in need of a polish. All of this will get into shape someday.
