Dragged through the mud, April 9, 2005

I found a muddy and windblown leaf torn from the Joy of Cooking desk calendar. It was from December 6, 2004, and it was about entertaining and how to seat ladies and gentlemen at table.

It’s usual to find grubby bits blown into odd corners as the snow melts and winter ends. Today I came home to a page of the newspaper from 11 months ago, blocking the walk.
